Christian Louboutin Patent Leather Platform Slingback Sandals

MY NEXT BUY!?!

Zara

I spent way too much time and money today at Zara!  As you can tell, I'm really feeling Orange / Neon Orange for this summer.  I'm predicting a more tailored and structured aesthetic, following this current 'bohemian-coachellaesque' spring / summer-trans look.

And for those that are wondering.......NO, I will not be wearing these together.

Zara Shoes

Zara has really stepped up their game in their shoe dept.  I spurlged and purchased 2 pairs of shoes -- perfect for summer!  So excited....cant wait to wear them out and show them off!

INSIGHTS :: KILL THE MACHINE

INSIGHT CREATES AND OPENS ITS FIRST LA BASED CONCEPT STORE

"Venice Beach California - home of the nomadic and the eclectic; a cultural plethora of skaters, surfers and dreamers alike...
And then there's us, a motley crew of creativity and chaos, ready to fuse into the madness and mayhem of Venice Beach with the opening of Insight's first US-based Concept space.
Opening April 26th 2011, Insight's Concept Space is situated on Windward Circle, a stroll away from the Venice Beach Skate Park, the breakwater and the iconic Abbot Kinney.
Concept by Insight's Creative Director, Steve Gorrow, and design build brought to life by Peter Wilday, the space provides a platform to showcase the brand in its entirety and better still, raises the curtains to wandering eyes, giving consumers a glimpse into the creative vibrancy that defines the very essence of the Insight brand.
An explosion of poetry, noise and art, the space provides a strong voice for the Insight Garage Artist Program, scheduling regular installations and live performances in the space's unique custom-built gallery." - Insights Newsletter

Dress No. 2 is strapless, made of plain satin gazar, and nipped at the waist with a diamante embroidered band. Perhaps chilly, Kate's also wearing a white angora bolero cardigan, which looks poised to shed white fluff all over William's crisp black tux.

Kate Middleton Did Do Her Own Wedding Makeup

I have to be honest, I had no interest in following this Royal wedding....until I saw a clip of how stunning Kate Middleton looked in her gown.  A vintage-inspired v-neck ivory gown by Alexander McQueen's Sarah Burton featured long, lace sleeves and a sweetheart style bodice. The bodice, skirt and underskirt were constructed out of French Chantilly and English Cluny lace while the skirt was a luxe ivory and white satin gazer.
MAKEUP

• Kate Middleton did do her own makeup, but reportedly only after receiving lessons from makeup artist Arabella Preston. WHAT? It looked too good. [People]
• The look she created was all about a soft smokey eye, with pink lips and cheeks. [Vogue UK]
HAIR
• Styled by James Pryce, and complemented by a stunning tiara, Kate Middleton wore her hair in loose curls. [Bellasugar]
NAILS
• Kate Middleton's manicurist revealed that she was wearing Bourjois So Laque Ultra Shine Nail Enamel in Rose Lounge, and Essie Allure. [InStyle]
She wore a Cartier tiara, loaned to her by the Queen. And Middleton's parents bought her matching Robinson Pelham earrings.
So, just who is this Sarah Burton?  The 36-year-old Brit was mentored by the late designer McQueen for 14 years. When McQueen died in 2010, Burton transitioned from assistant to creative director of his company, debuting her first collection as head designer during the Spring 2011 shows in Paris.

AllSaints Rescued by $166 Million Deal

"The troubled British retailer AllSaints, which opened a New York flagship in Soho last May, began calling desperately for new investors this past March. They're currently finalizing a deal with Goode Partners, an investor in Intermix and Bowlmor Lanes, and London-based Lion Capital, a key creditor to American Apparel. "We're guardedly optimistic," said an AllSaints spokesperson of the $166 million deal. Lion will buy 75 percent of the company, while Good will take 15 percent, leaving AllSaints founder Kevin Stanford with a 10 percent stake.
AllSaints' financial troubles began when one of its majority stakeholders, Icelandic bank Kaupthing, collapsed earlier this year in the midst of the retailer's ambitious international expansion plan (which included a large new shop in the meatpacking district). A source close to the company said that Stanford was "wildly talented, but also loved to spend money," which also contributed to the money shortage." - The Cut

Calypso for Target

They've had Alexander McQueen, Anna Sui, Rodarte, Proenza Schouler, Zac Posen and now: Calypso St. Barth! The upper moderately priced Caribbean themed brand teams up with Target collection hitting stores May 1 and ranges from $1.99 to $79.99, which includes clothing and accessories for ladies and kids along with home décor items including candles, pillows, and glasses — is "timed perfectly for summer."  I cant wait!
